Environmental Impact Committee (EIC)

Plant trees with the Environmental Impact Committee and the Palo Alto University Rotary Club!

Help sustain the environment. Here are 4 organizations that the EIC supports. Give a gift as a way of honoring or memorializing someone, or celebrating a birthday, or as a way of enriching our environment. Here are the tree organizations we recommend. T

To plant our PAUR Club-wide digital forest, let the EIC know when you plant a tree or send a gift. See our digital forest grow on the EIC webpage. Contact Don MacKenzie at dongomack5170@aol.com.

Canopy

We have had a working relationship with them for years. They are local and will be willing to discuss type of tree and location.

The Sempervirens Fund

The Sempervirens Fund is California’s oldest land trust and the only organization dedicated exclusively to protecting the redwood forests of the Santa Cruz Mountains.

Redwood Forest Foundation They will plant a redwood in someone's honor. $50 for one tree, but exponentially more for more $$, so if you give a $1000 donation, they will plant 200 trees. They plant locally in Mendocino. Plant a redwood.

One Tree Planted

One tree planted per dollar donated, shows here how they do it. They do have a California-specific branch. Number of trees = number of dollars spent.
