The Magic of Membership at PAUR

August is Membership and New Club Development Month—a time for Rotary clubs around the world to celebrate what makes our fellowship strong and to invite others to join the journey.

At the Palo Alto/University Rotary Club—affectionately known as the Friday Morning Mavericks—our strength comes from the unique blend of people, passions, and purpose that fuels our work. We are leaders, doers, and dreamers, united by a simple belief: together, we can make lasting change locally and globally.

From supporting literacy programs for children, to advancing clean water initiatives abroad, to backing the Palo Alto History Museum, our members are hands-on in service, creative in problem-solving, and generous in spirit. But the real magic happens every Friday morning—when ideas, friendships, and opportunities to serve collide.
